XProtect Plugin installation
Requirements:
XProtect VMS Products version XProtect Express+ 2023 R1 or later
Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Latest Supported
Plug-in installation:
1. Run XProtect Smart Client and go to the “Setup” menu.
2. Go to “Settings”
3. Choose “FF Data Factory” from the settings list
4. Input URL of the FF Data Factory web UI (URL example: http://10.0.5.100:5001/)
5. Press “Apply” button. As a result, you should see the status “Registered”
6. Now you can close the “Settings” window
7. Restart Milestone Mobile Server
Management Client:
You can see the same settings in DataFactory web UI
There are also 2 statuses of connection:
- Management server – important for camera list pulling
- Mobile server – important for playing video

In User Management section in settings page you can:
▪ add, delete users
▪ set the pages available for viewing
You cannot delete df-admin user

Go back to your Milestone installation.
Open the "Setup" menu and drag the FF Datа Factory icon to the appropriate window in the Milestone XProtect client

Now you can use
FF Data Factory fully inside
Milestone XProtect
