Changing the path of the DF storage

Changing the path of the DF storage

To ensure that images are stored in a new path, follow these steps:

1. Run the installer for the Data Factory software.
2. During the installation, you will be prompted to specify the installation path.
3. Select the new path where you want the images to be stored, such as D:\DataFactory\Storage.
4. Complete the installation process.

After installation, the database file will initially be written to the existing 2 GB file in the specified directory
 (e.g., C:\Program Files\FF Data Factory\Storage\2024-04).
Once this file reaches its 2 GB limit, the database file will automatically start writing to the new path specified during the installation
(e.g., D:\DataFactory\Storage).
The images within this database are stored in an encrypted format to ensure a higher level of security.
