Settings tab Features

To configure camera settings in the FF DataFactory web application, follow these steps:

  1. Camera Name: Enter a preferred name for the camera to facilitate easier identification of events from that specific source.

  2. Camera Serial Number: Enter the camera's serial number to start receiving events from the camera. Ensure that the camera is properly configured to send events to the FF DataFactory application.

  3. Camera IP Address: Manually enter the camera's IP address for quick access to the camera's web page.

  4. Press the "Add" button to finalize the process of adding the camera.

You can export and import the list of cameras in the .csv format:

You can manage the storage period for both events and images based on your PC's capacity. Adjust the storage period accordingly to efficiently handle data within the application.

Select the required cameras to start receiving recognition events, as other events will be ignored for the unselected cameras.

You have the flexibility to add or remove data sources at any time, as long as you remain within the licensed limit.

User Management:

df-admin - this is the user that was defined during the installation. You cannot delete it.

Business Logic Management:

Typical steps to launch data processing according to specific Business logic (BL):

  1. Load BL from file (skip for pre-installed BL)

  2. Create instance of BL for specific user

  3. Activate created BL instance (press button). BL starts to data processing

  4. Press appeared link on top bar to view dashboard
    Other users will need to refresh the page for the link to appear on the top bar if they already logged in.


To stop data processing you just have to press “Stop” button. After this BL link disappear from top bar. But all data will be saved. Therefore, after activation, data will continue to accumulate and be processed.


NOTE, that for each BL there is special circumstances for parallel data processing and storing upon different users.


List management and Alerts overview:

Typical flow

  1. Add new group of violators, 

  2. Set whether alert should pop up. Save it.

  3. Select group. And add license plates to it.


Show in results

By clicking on:

  1. “List of groups” row you’ll see all events for group 

  2. Specific license plate in “List of license plates” - all event for it

  3. “Show all” button - all events from all groups and license plates
